Curtis Cripe, PhD.

A neuro-engineer focused on behavioral medicine, Dr. Curtis Cripe’s professional and academic activities span several disciplines that include neuro-engineering, aerospace engineering, psychology, psycho-physiology, software development and programming, addiction recovery, brain injury, and child neurodevelopment.

In the area of behavioral medicine, Curtis Cripe established the Crossroads Institute and directed the technical and management efforts of over 12 locations in seven states. This multi-site, multi-state program utilized unique Internet management, telemedicine brain training delivery systems.

Curtis neuro-engineered integrated cognitive rehabilitation and neuro-development programs dedicated to assisting children with developmental disorders, such as autism, ADD/ADHD and other learning disabilities and programs for adults with a wide range of psychological problems including addiction and traumatic brain injury.

Using tele-medicine and the Internet to manage and deliver applicable brain-training therapies, the networked programs assist families with children with learning disabilities, autism, and other developmental delays, as well as adults with depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse, and head injuries regardless of remoteness and location.

Dr. Curtis Cripe's technical career includes participating as a senior systems engineer for the Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL) for NASA's deep space research missions including the first Mars landing. Additionally, Curtis' technical background includes working for TRW, Inc., in a supervisory capacity on a number of software projects for clients such as the Department of Defense.

Well published in the field of behavioral medicine and neuroscience, Dr. Cripe as authored multiple peer-reviewed papers and has authored 2 chapters in field related books. He is a noted international speaker on the subject of cognitive brain function and analysis. He is a lifetime member of the Golden Key International Honor Society for Academics, a Certified Neurotherapy Instructor, Certified Peak Performance Instructor, and an INPP instructor for brain development.
