The Personal Academic Training Program at Crossroads consists of three instructional phases: direct instruction, guided practice, and independent practice. A Personal Academic Training Instructor leads the student through all three phases, for every skill included in the student's program. During direct instruction, a Personal Academic Training Instructor introduces the concept.
In guided practice, the student uses a workbook or set of questions that the Instructor creates.
Finally, the student reaches the independent practice phase, during which the student demonstrates his or her understanding of a skill independently by completing exercises followed by evaluation from the Instructor. Together, these phases create an integrated learning system for each student.

Our web-based study skills program reveals to students their best learning style and teaches them targeted study strategies they will use throughout their lives. Our Study Strategies module is an interactive, data-driven program developed by educators that is essential for enhancing a student's academic performance.
The course features a data collection component designed to help students, teachers and parents understand the learning style of each student. By understanding how students learn, teachers and parents can adjust teaching techniques to accommodate the needs of each child. By understanding their learning style, students can maximize their study time for optimal learning.
Comprehensive Learning Support Program
To augment each students learning needs we offer a comprehensive support program, which allows not only students to excel but also gives parents the ability to gain insight into how their child is doing online. With over 30 lesson variations that augment their program, students have the opportunity to enjoy their new learning environment. Our study guides cover critical study strategies and topics such as How Do You Learn, Taking a Test, Note Taking, and Memory Development tools students need to achieve academic success.

Crossroads Test Preparation System gives students a detailed analysis of their performance called a Skills Feedback Report. Each report measures a student's progress with their state and NCLB standards. The report clearly shows where students need to focus their efforts to maximize their academic scores. The Crossroads Test Preparation System solution allows students and their parents to track student progress and measures how well they are doing by comparing them to their state and NCLB standards.
Once a student report is generated, showing individual learning profiles and progress. Both the student and their parents can access the reports. The reporting system was designed to be used as an aid to enhance each student's ability in reaching academic targets and aid them in raising test scores through careful skill analysis and remediation in precise areas need.
