This part of the program helps students in grades 3-12 learn the fundamentals of the writing process.
Crossroads Learning-2-Learn -Writing
- Enables students to learn through structured assignments about each stage of the writing process
- Provides a variety of pre-writing tools such as a note card tool and a graphic organizer tool to motivate students to write
- Is used across the mentoring program to develop skills in organization, analysis, synthesis, and communication.
- Focus on various modes of writing (e.g., expository, narrative, persuasive, descriptive, etc.)
- Provides lesson plans to support each mode
